New York, West 53rd Street is the home of American Folk Art Museum. As the name suggests, this museum houses collections of local art in America.
The inspiration for folk art is usually at the turning points in American history, such as war or ceremony marks. The technique has produced a mirror image of the artist’s personal response to such events. The museum is open from 10.30 to 17.30 clock Tuesday to Sunday and was approved by 11.00 bis 07.30 clock Friday. Tickets are available in varying amounts for students, children, groups, seniors and adults. Admission of $ 7 to $ 9 and go.
